![]() ![]() Most propane grills I’ve worked with in the past it’s 500 degrees or nothing so this was a big win in my opinion. Despite the different temp zones it is very easy to control the overall temp using the single adjustment knob. It’s very easy to clean and the side tray offers enough space to place seasoning, serving platters (loading and unloading) and a hot pad for handling that cast iron or griddle. The griddle size is large enough to grill for 4-6 people. It hasn’t made an impact, as we generally rotate food around to ensure everything is getting grilled at the same rate and for the most part we grill smaller meals so we simply place food in the same area to allow everything to cook at the same rate. It seems to get much hotter towards the back, which causes a noticeable difference in cook rate from food placed elsewhere. The only disappointment has been the not so equal distribution of heat. I purchased it mainly because of the brands reputation, features, and it’s small footprint. Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2023 Good grill for on the go, has a few limitations though Bummer! Love the grill though! Will work great for BBQs at the park, camping or tailgating at sports games. I have to carry a seperated propane tank until I find a hose that will work for it. I did find an aftermarket hose on Amazon.however, I returned it because Weber Traveler has slight taper in the presta valve connection at the grill. I contacted Weber, and they do not recommend or offer the LP quick connect hose for this model of the Traveler unfortunately. Camping world offers a version of this grill that comes with propane quick connect hose - I would recommend ordering that one for RV use. This grill does NOT hook up to the RV propane quick connects. This grill does all the things I was looking for except we have 1 issue.hence the 4 stars. I wanted a portable grill, with a big grilling area, yet folds up small enough to tuck into the campers side compartments. I have 4 kids and a wife.so we cook for a family of 6 on it. This is a good gril for all intensive purposes. The hinged lid doesn't close all the way with the griddle plate however, so you can't put in a folded close position with the griddle in place. I bought an aftermarket griddle (half coverage) and have been pleased with that as an option. The grill grates are well made and clean up well. I've cooked for groups of 6-8 with the Traveler, plenty of grill space. Heat up time are quick with the smaller dome lid. Still need to be careful when folding the grill so that the hose is not obstructing anything on the fold up system, but it can stay attached when folded. I've started using a 1 lb to 20 lb hose to make that easier. ![]() The only negative I've found is that is difficult to align the 1 lb cylinders into the bottom connection. The build quality is great with nothing lacking on the components. Some assembly was required, but it was minimal, 10 minutes at most. The fold up system of the Web Traveler and great reviews on ease of use and quality construction gets you over the price tag. Read many reviews on camper friendly gas grills. Our tabletop portable propane grill made it a few seasons and gas regulator failed (no spare parts available!) affording the opportunity for an upgrade. ![]()
